Why a FASEP aligner is better then a 3D? latest update 12/01/12 |
Why a FASEP wheel aligner is better then a 3D aligner?
Well, do not ask us. Just ask this guy!
In this sequence of pictures (the
sequence of picture has a low quality as it was taken with a phone camera on the
spot while visiting the customer) you can see a tyre shop where an operator
performs wheel alignment adjustment on a car (a Seat Cordoba).
The shop is one of the biggest in Porto, Portugal. The shop serves cars and
trucks and it is very busy at all times as clearly visible from the pictures.
In the shop, two alignment bays are available. One bay is equipped with a
Hofmann 3D aligner (blu, on the left) (equivalent to JBC or SUN 3D aligner) and
another bay equipped with a VDP.Trax (cordless) aligner from FASEP.
I swear that nobody told this guy what to
do.
The Hofmann aligner was normally operating (in some pictures you can see the 3D
flashes going on) and it was normally available to align any car.
The guy did all by himself.
Nobody instructed the operator to choice the FASEP alignment bay for the sake of
the pictures!
When asked at the end of the job, he declared he prefer to use FASEP as he get an accurate job done in a faster time.
Maybe, he just had no much time to waste with other aligners.
